and Scholastic have teamed up to present Search and
Give, an innovative and automatic way for our school
to raise money. Parents, students, and teachers can now
earn money for our school when they search the Web.
Microsoft® has made a strong commitment to this
groundbreaking program, and our school has chosen to
participate in this easy way to earn money for the
things every school needs.
Here's
how the Search and Give program works:

is a search engine powered by Live Search from
Microsoft®, which offers a simple and innovative
approach to searching the Web.
- Anyone
who uses www.searchandgive.com
inside or outside of our school can sign up to
become a supporter and start earning tickets that
translate into money for our school.
- Internet
searches by our school's supporters on www.searchandgive.com
will generate tickets that will be donated to our
school's account.*
- Near
the end of every school year, Microsoft® will
convert our school's tickets to cash and send a
check to our school.

that easy! Best of all, enrollment is FREE.
Our school and its supporters participate at NO COST.
There is no door-to-door selling, no cookies to bake, no
donations to collect. Everyone benefits!

What
is Search and Give?
Search
and Give is a fundraising program that provides
participating schools with a free and automatic way to
raise money. The Microsoft® program, supported by
Scholastic Inc., is powered by Live Search and allows
supporters to donate to the school of their choice. When
a supporter performs a search at www.searchandgive.com,
their school earns a ticket. Based on the amount of
tickets a school's supporters generate, Microsoft® will
make a donation to that school. Your school's active
supporters are the key to Search and Give's
success. The more active supporters your school has, the
more searches; and the more searches done, the more
rewards your school receives.* Each search means money
for your school.
How
much can each school earn?
The amount of money each school raises depends on the
number of searches done by its supporters. Although the
donation amount from each search is small, the searches
and tickets quickly add up!
Are
there any costs?
No enrollment fees or costs of any kind are involved
with this program. There are no hidden commitments, and
participation is completely voluntary.
What
do supporters have to do to participate?
All they have to do is sign up and search. Anyone who
searches the internet can quickly and easily sign up at www.searchandgive.com
to support the school of his or her choice. When a
registered supporter does a search on www.searchandgive.com,
Microsoft® will automatically donate a ticket to the
school's account.* Only searches done on the Search
and Give Web site will generate tickets. Supporters
should make sure that they are signed in and that the
top of the search page says Search and Give.
How do
supporters sign up?

and click on "Sign In."

up for a Windows Live ID and select our
school on the My Charity Settings page.
