Our school
believes in facilitating a high quality
childcare program that helps children learn by
themselves through self-expression and
exploration, enhancing their self-worth and
value within a nurturing environment. Children
are given the opportunity to explore, experiment
and create. Our environment gives children the
ability to use independence and self-reliance,
make choices, initiate their own activities and
problem-solve. We believe in providing an
interpersonal environment that will allow
children and adults to build and sustain strong
relationships through understanding, involvement
and positive attitudes.
We believe in
providing attractive age and developmentally
appropriate learning materials and activities
that incorporate a social, emotional, cognitive
and physical foundation. We want to inspire a
love of learning and encourage children to
discover their maximum learning potential by
providing challenges that allow them to grow
intellectually. We invite and incorporate the
ethnicity, culture and linguistic backgrounds of
our children and their families to form the
content of our curriculum.
We also work in
partnership with parents to promote the growth
and development of each child. We work together
with parents to set goals for the children and
we strive to achieve them. We encourage parent
involvement within every aspect of our program.
We, as parents, listen, communicate and work
together to accommodate one another. Our school
believes in operating an efficient
administration in order to implement our goals
as a high quality child development program. The
administration believes in providing families
with support, services and resources to meet
their needs. We employ an experienced and
qualified staff that reflects the linguistic and
cultural make-up of children and families in our
program. Our teachers are educated, trained and
possess qualities to provide direction,
information and compassion for individual family
needs.
